Cold Snowy Days

January is here which means of course snow, snow, snow. I always enjoy the snow...until we start to get cabin fever. It makes me miss our warm summer evening walks oh so much. These snowy days have been filled with giant colorful messes, playing music, dancing, watching Guess How Much I Love You more times than I can count on my fingers, and snuggling by the fire.  The other evening the living room turned a vibrant pink so we ran outside...some of us without our shoes on and watched the painted sky.  Winter can be a really beautiful time here in Colorado.

  1. I am the same way with the snow! On one hand, I love the idea of being stuck at home and getting cozy but that is only fun for so long. And I love the last picture, too precious!

  2. Yes, I would say that's a tad bit more snow than we received in San Diego last week. :) How gorgeous though. It looks magical!

    1. I love it when the whole house fills with color from the sunset! Totally worth running outside without coats or shoes!
