"a portrait of my daughter, once a week, every week, in 2013."
Everdeen Kate: You had your six month appointment and had the band aids to prove it. I love those chubby little legs more than anything, I'm just sorry that they were sore for a day or two. I know you have to be brave and get shots every couple of months but I am so thankful for your good health every moment of every day.
Linking up with Jodi :)
She didn't seem to mind too much. I think she thought it was like a tattoo.
ReplyDeletechubby bubbys rule. She got 2 in each leg?? ouch!
ReplyDeleteugh Matthew's appointment is next week. I can't stand having to watch him in pain. It was so hard when I gave birth & at his 4 months, I know I am still going to have a hard time!!
ReplyDeleteThose are perhaps the coolest little bandaids I've seen in my whole life. Sorry about the painful legs: huts baby; hurts mama's heart.
ReplyDeleteAw. Shots are no fun! You take amazing pictures!
ReplyDeleteA cute shot to document some necessary owies! Gee they get prodded a lot in that first year, hey!?
ReplyDeleteOoooh, poor baby. :/ That's quite a bit for a little sprite like her. She's rocking those band-aids, though. I never got cool bandaids. Well, no, that's a lie. I think when I was four, I got a shot. Right in my butt, since I was so scrawny and couldn't get it anywhere else. Anyway, I got a Ronald McDonald band-aid or something. And when mom and I got home from the doctor, I showed my 13-year-old brother my new band-aid... .... haha.
ReplyDeletethose chubby legs are adorable.
ReplyDeleteHi Jessica! Thank you for the bloggy love! I just had to come over and marvel at your cute little girl! And I also read your birth story. It was amazing. I seriously love reading birth stories. It's like watching Downton Abbey for me. It's just crazy/amazing/miraculous stuff!
ReplyDeleteAnyways, love her name too! Everdeen! so pretty.
Can't get over those chubby legs!
