Sometimes being inside ALL day long can make you feel a little stir crazy. Even on snowy days we try to take Everdeen out to get some fresh air and explore. Being outside is so good for the soul, the mind, the spirit. We found a path surrounded by a forest of pine trees in the neighborhood across the street...I felt like I was in a scene from the perpetual winter of Narnia.
Quiet and beautiful.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place! You're inspiring me to take Lucy outside even in the rain, (finally raining here!) and it just dawned on me that even though she loves umbrellas in books we've never used one in real life! What the?! Looks like we've got plans tomorrow.
